Divisional center of scientific-technical information and propaganda (DCNTI) was established on December 2-nd of 1965 on the basis of the House of Technique. It's principal designation was aimed at promoting and handling the scientific-technical information and propaganda process, survey, generalization and dissemination of advanced experience and progressive technologies, supervision over their introduction into practical and production processes. On December 1997 the DCNTI was reorganized and the Sector of scientific-technical information (SSTI) of the Railroad's Technical department was founded on it's base.
