The Centre supervises methological work in the field of scientific information, including classification information languages.
The Centre has issued four extra editions (concerning transport) of UDC authorised by FID.
The Centre has worked out a documentary thesaurus concerning highways engineering, road and air transport, in order to index materials entered into the computerised information system. The Centre is currently updating its computerised documentary thesaurus.
